Kiedy zaczyna się proces gojenia rany?
Proces gojenia rany rozpoczyna się niedługo po jej powstaniu. Pierwszym etapem wówczas jest obkurczenie się naczyń krwionośnych wokół rany. Następnie dochodzi do nagromadzenia się płytek krwi, które odpowiadają za zatrzymanie wypływu krwi.
Kolejnym etapem procesu gojenia rany jest uaktywnienie się tzw. procesu fibrynogenezy. Na skutek wytworzonego galaretowatego czopu brzegi rany sklejają się.
Następnie rana zostaje poddana oczyszczeniu z martwych tkanek i bakterii. Biorą w tym procesie udział pojawiające się w ranie fibroblasty i makrofagi. Ten swego rodzaju proces zapalny występuje każdorazowo przy różnego rodzaju urazach. Jest on formą odpowiedzi obronnej organizmu.
Wraz ze stopniowym ustąpieniem procesu zapalnego, makrofagi mają za zadanie ponownie oczyścić ranę z martwych komórek i uwolnić tzw. czynniki wzrostu, które są niezbędne w prawidłowym procesie gojenia ran.
Fibroblasty pojawiające się w ranie rozpoczynają gojenie rany. Wówczas pobudzone zostają naczynia krwionośne, które wrastają w ranę i dochodzi do ich namnożenia. Dochodzi później również do pokrywania rany nabłonkiem, który narasta od brzegów.
Prawidłowy czas gojenia rany to ok. 3 tygodnie
Prawidłowy przebieg gojenia rany trwa ok. 3 tygodni. Dochodzi wtedy do wytworzenia blizny, która jeszcze przez dłuższy czas będzie ulegała samoistnemu przebudowaniu. Tego rodzaju proces gojenia zwany jest gojeniem przez rychłozrost, in. pierwotnym.
Natomiast jeżeli w ranie pojawiła się martwica bądź stan zapalny, oznacza to, że proces gojenia rany nie przebiega prawidłowo. Takie zaburzone gojenie wydłuża czas całego procesu naprawczego w ranie i powoduje powstanie ziarniny, do której wrastają naczynia krwionośne. To właśnie ziarnina jest wówczas swojego rodzaju podłożem procesów przebudowy, podczas którego gojenie będzie postępowało od brzegów rany.
