– Leczenie żywieniowe wprowadzone jest po to, aby poprawić albo utrzymać stan odżywienia pacjentów, ale też m.in. po to, aby zmniejszyć ilość powikłań i poprawić jakość życia naszego pacjenta.

Mgr Zuzanna Konrady podczas wystąpienia wyjaśniła, iż w rozpoznaniu niedożywienia można zastosować m.in. badanie składu ciała – bioimpedancję elektryczną.

– Dzięki temu badaniu możemy ocenić ilość tkanki mięśniowej, tłuszczowej, zawartość wody w organizmie, jak wygląda nasz wiek metaboliczny, nasza waga ciała. Jest to bardziej poszerzone badanie, które dość często w strukturach pozamedycznych jest wykorzystywane – dodała.

Zuzanna Konrady jest pielęgniarką specjalizującą się w leczeniu ran oraz Skarbnikiem Stowarzyszenia Naukowego Leczenia Ran. W swojej praktyce zajmuje się m.in. pacjentami ze stopą cukrzycową oraz pielęgnacją ran.

Ponadto Zuzanna Konrady jest również Przewodniczącą Zarządu Oddziału Wielkopolskiego Polskiego Towarzystwa Pielęgniarek Anestezjologicznych i Intensywnej Opieki.
