Podczas wykładu prof. Kramer przedstawił najnowsze informacje o podchlorynie, który jak podkreślił jest idealnym preparatem antyseptycznym do oczyszczania ran, zgodnie ze strategią MOIST. Jak zaznaczył, najważniejsze jest to, że podchloryn jest fizjologicznym środkiem antyseptycznym oraz bardzo ważnym przekaźnikiem naturalnej odporności.

Ekspert omówił również krok po kroku wszystkie elementy strategii MOIST, czyli takie kryteria jak wilgotność, tlen, kontrola infekcji, wsparcie oraz zarządzanie tkankami. W swoim wystąpieniu podsumował, że najlepszym antyseptykiem nie będzie ten o najszerszym zastosowaniu, ale ten, który będzie najbardziej odpowiedni do danego zastosowania.
