Kierownik Małopolskiego Centrum Oparzeniowo-Plastycznego, Replantacji Kończyn z Ośrodkiem Terapii Hiperbarycznej Szpitala im. L. Rydygiera w Krakowie dr hab. n. med. Anna Chrapusta wraz z dwoma asystentami w ciągu ostatnich kilkunastu dni przeprowadziła replantację ręki. Mężczyzna stracił rękę na skutek użytkowania piły tarczowej. Operacja trwała 5,5 godziny.
Pacjent trafił do Małopolskiego Centrum Oparzeniowo-Plastycznego, Replantacji Kończyn w ubiegłym tygodniu w wyniku wypadku podczas pracy piłą tarczową – ucięcia ręki na wysokości połowy przedramienia. Do Szpitala im. L. Rydygiera w Krakowie został przetransportowany śmigłowcem. Zabieg rozpoczął się 7 godzin po wypadku, natomiast sama operacja trwała 5,5 godziny.
– To było najszybsze tempo replantacji ze względu na bardzo mocne krwawienie – powiedziała dr Anna Chrapusta. Jak zaznaczyła, w zabiegu pomagali jej dwaj asystenci, którzy uczestniczyli w dyżurach replantacyjnych w jednym z większych ośrodków tego typu w kraju.
Replantacja odbyła się w specjalnych kombinezonach
Z uwagi na to, że nie było wiadomo, czy pacjent jest zakażony chorobą COVID-19, zgodnie z procedurami podczas replantacji specjaliści musieli być wyposażeni we wszystkie środki ochrony osobistej, m.in. w specjalne kombinezony.
– To podniosło skalę trudności, bo w kombinezonach jest okropnie gorąco. Fizycznie to bardzo ciężkie do wytrzymania, szczególnie w momencie, gdy trzeba mieć ogromne tempo zabiegu ze względu na krwawienie – dodała.
Po zakończeniu gojenia, pacjenta będzie czekała rehabilitacja
Dzięki zabiegom w komorze hiperbarycznej, które maja na celu zwiększenie utlenienia niedokrwionych mięśni, mężczyzna czuje się dobrze. U pacjenta zostanie przeprowadzony jeszcze jeden specjalistyczny zabieg. Zgodnie z planem mężczyzna ma opuścić szpital już w tym tygodniu.
